Aisling is a Podiatrist from Ireland who graduated from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh with a first-class honour’s degree. Aisling lived in Edinburgh for 6.5 years prior to making the decision to move to Sydney, Australia in January 2023.
Her career began working for the National Health Service (NHS) during Covid-19, where she specialised in the high-risk foot, which included diabetic wound management, vascular disease, and rheumatological conditions. Subsequently, she was promoted to General Specialist Podiatrist due to her multifaceted approach and has worked in a range of clinics including the high-risk foot, biomechanics, nail surgery, and student practice education. Meanwhile, she worked part time in private practice to further strengthen her biomechanical skills, continuing to broaden her clinical expertise. Aisling gained an interest in sports and exercise podiatry in this role treating an array of people from recreational to professional athletes. Through this experience, she gained a range of skills including Radial Shockwave Therapy, Dry Needling, Musculoskeletal Laser Therapy, and Foot Mobilisation Techniques.
Firmly believing that every individual deserves access to high quality evidence-based health information, Aisling dedicates herself to helping her clients make informed decisions with regards to their care. Her skills, knowledge and experience ensure that she has the ability accurately assess, diagnose and support individuals of all abilities in pursuit of their goals by unravelling what matters to them and empower them towards this. Aisling is committed to the quality of her care and is passionate about the prevention
and rehabilitation of injuries in line with evidence-based information.
Aisling enjoys the outdoors and spends most of her spare time at the gym, reformer pilates, running, and sea swimming. Beyond this, she enjoys travelling and trying out new sports and activities.
Aisling is a member of the Australian Podiatry Association and Sports and Exercise Podiatry Australia.
